Budgets
A monthly budget for each marketplace, where the month stands against it, and a cap that pauses your campaigns until the 1st.
Budgets gives each marketplace a monthly budget. You see what the month has cost so far, whether it spends faster or slower than planned, and where it ends at this pace. Gloriads tells you at 80%, and can pause the marketplace's campaigns once the budget is reached, then turn them back on on the 1st.

Set a monthly budget
Type the amount in Monthly budget next to a marketplace, then press Enter or click elsewhere: it is saved. Empty the box to remove the budget.
Amounts are in US dollars, like the dashboard: Spent this month is the dashboard's own figure, converted by Amazon. The month is the marketplace's own, in its time zone. Streaming TV is not counted.
Where the month stands
| Column | What it says |
|---|---|
| Spent this month | What the month has cost so far, against the budget, with a bar. |
| Pace | On track: within 10% of a steady spend. Spending too fast: spending faster. Below pace: slower. Budget reached: the month has spent it all. Above the badge: where the month ends if it keeps spending like this (shown after the first days). |
The line above the table adds up every marketplace with a budget. Refresh reads the spend from Amazon again, like on the dashboard.
Pause at the cap
Turn on Pause at the cap to have Gloriads pause, once the month reaches its budget, every campaign that is on in that marketplace (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Display). The pause shows in Activity and in your notifications, with how many campaigns it paused.
- On the 1st, in the marketplace's time zone, Gloriads turns those campaigns back on. A campaign you changed since keeps its state.
- Resume now, under the switch, turns them back on at once (after raising the budget, for example). Undo on the pause in Activity does the same.
- Once you resume, the month is not paused again before the 1st.
- Turning the switch off, or removing the budget, does not turn anything back on: use Resume now.
- Streaming TV campaigns are never paused.
You get a notification at 80% of the budget, and when it is reached, whether the cap is on or not.
How precise the cap is
Gloriads checks each budget whenever the spend is updated: at least once a day, at each Refresh, and each time your rules read your campaigns' figures. Amazon's reports also come a few hours late. So the month can end a little above the budget, up to about a day of spend. For a hard daily limit, keep each campaign's daily budget on Amazon as well.
