Short answer. Perpetua is goal-based software: you set a target ACOS and a budget, and its engine builds and runs the campaigns. Gloriads is software you control: rules you write, tested before they act, and your own edits respected. At $10,000 of monthly ad spend, Gloriads costs $239 a month against $695 at Perpetua, with no contract, and nothing changes at Amazon until you turn a rule on.
What is Perpetua?
Perpetua is Amazon advertising software founded in Toronto. Ascential bought it in 2021, and it is now a brand of Flywheel, part of Omnicom since January 2024. It also absorbed Sellics.
You create goals: products, a target ACOS and a daily budget for each segment (brand, generic, competitors, category). Perpetua then builds 3 to 6 campaigns per Sponsored Products goal, harvests keywords, recalculates bids once a day and moves budget between the campaigns. On its Growth plan, Stream bid schedules change bids hour by hour. Its rules come in four templates: negatives from search terms, competitor signals, organic rank and stock.
Perpetua also runs Amazon DSP, Walmart and Instacart, sells market intelligence (Prism) and Amazon Marketing Cloud reports on its Premium plan, and tests an MCP connector for Claude in closed beta, read only.
How Perpetua's pricing and contract work in 2026
Perpetua's Essentials plan is $695 a month up to $10,000 of monthly ad spend. Above it, Growth is $695 plus a percentage of your ad spend that Perpetua does not publish: customers report about 3% of the spend above $10,000. Above $500,000 a month, Premium is a custom quote. There is no free trial.
From 2022 until May 26, 2026, Perpetua's own terms renewed a contract for 12 months unless written notice arrived at least 90 days before the renewal. Since May 26, 2026, the term and the notice are set in each customer's order form. The terms also let Perpetua raise its fees once a year by up to inflation plus 5%, and bill the set-up period.
To cancel, Perpetua's help center sends you to its chat or your account manager, inside the cancellation window of your contract, and refunds nothing already paid. Its terms say a notice is valid by email to the address they give: send yours both ways, and keep the proof.
Gloriads publishes its price, set by your Amazon ad spend of the previous month, with no percentage up to $100,000 a month. Every account starts with 14 days free and no card, then pays month by month, and cancels in one click.
Why advertisers leave Perpetua
Most negative reviews of Perpetua come back to the same points:
- a contract that renewed for another year because the notice came too late, and unpaid months sent to collections;
- ACOS going up while an algorithm overbids on keywords that do not sell;
- a structure imposed on every product, and campaigns paused when the account leaves;
- an engine they cannot see into, which adds keywords without asking;
- a price tied to ad spend, and account managers who leave.
How Gloriads works instead
Gloriads keeps your campaigns as they are. It reads your Amazon Ads account, and changes only what a rule you turned on says to change. When you change something yourself in Amazon, your rules leave it alone for 7 days instead of reversing it.
A rule is IF, AND, OR, NOT and ELSE IF on any metric and any time window, running every hour to every 3 months, with ceilings that keep it in bounds. Test now shows every change it would make on your account before it acts.
Every change lands in Activity with its reason, and one click undoes it, or a whole run. Lists of keywords and ASINs that may never be negated protect your brand. Gloriads covers Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and Streaming TV.
Where Perpetua is better
From its Growth plan, Perpetua gives you a Client Success team, with check-ins and business reviews on request. Gloriads gives you the controls and its documentation, not a person.
Perpetua's Stream schedules bids from live hour-by-hour figures, and its Conversion Optimization works by the hour too. Gloriads has figures hour by hour, updated every night, and a day × hour schedule that pauses or sets bids at the hours you choose, but no automatic re-bid every hour. Perpetua also runs Amazon DSP, Walmart and Instacart, which Gloriads does not.
Perpetua reads your seller data for profit and TACOS, tracks share of voice and organic rank, and sells market intelligence and Amazon Marketing Cloud reports. Gloriads reads a margin per product; TACOS is on its roadmap.
What happens to your campaigns when you leave Perpetua
Cancelling deletes your goals within 24 hours. Perpetua's help center says their Sponsored Products and Display campaigns are then paused, Amazon may reset their budgets to the minimum, and their bids stay unchanged; its most recent page says the same of Sponsored Brands. The products Perpetua paused in your older campaigns when it started stay paused.
Your access to Perpetua stops the moment you cancel. Download its files first: your goals and segments, with each target ACOS and budget, your reports and your product costs. Then ask in writing that your data be destroyed: its terms allow it within 30 days of the request.
The order that pays nothing twice and loses no campaign: find your notice date, prepare Gloriads with every rule off and note each campaign's budget, cancel and remove Perpetua's access on your last day, turn back on the campaigns you keep with their budgets, then turn your rules on.
