Short answer. Scale Insights and Gloriads are both rule-based Amazon Ads software; they differ in how you pay and how you work. Scale Insights charges per product and per marketplace, and assembles 11 algorithms into objectives. Gloriads charges by ad spend for every marketplace, and runs rules you read in one sentence, test before they act and undo in one click. For 10 products on 4 marketplaces at $10,000 of ad spend, Gloriads costs $239 a month against $388; on a single marketplace, Scale Insights costs less, at $98.
What is Scale Insights?
Scale Insights is Amazon advertising software made by Scale Insights Pte Ltd, a Singapore company founded in 2020 and led by Luke Lim, who started building it in 2018. It has about 33 employees and is listed as an Advanced partner in Amazon Ads' partner directory.
It automates your ads with 11 algorithms (bidding, keyword import, negatives, dayparting, budgets, placements and more), assembled into strategic objectives that you assign to each ad group from presets. They run once a day; dayparting runs every hour and can change each target's bid hour by hour. Its rules can also read organic rank and Search Query Performance.
Scale Insights is built for Seller Central sellers: one account per Seller Central account, on 12 marketplaces, with Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display. It also reads your sales for profit, TACOS and restock forecasts, and offers an MCP connector, in beta, that can change bids, budgets and negatives after your approval.
How Scale Insights pricing works in 2026
Scale Insights charges per automated ASIN, whatever your ad spend: from $78 a month for 5 ASINs to $688 for 100. One automated ASIN is one product on one marketplace, so the same product in the US and in Canada counts twice. Paid yearly, every plan is about 20% cheaper.
Above 100 automated ASINs, its 1% Plan gives unlimited ASINs for 1% of your monthly ad spend. It is sold on request: Scale Insights does not publish its minimum or what it covers.
There is no contract: you cancel in the billing dashboard before the next billing cycle. Its terms refund nothing already paid, allow one price increase a year and let it delete your data after you leave. The 30-day free trial needs no card, but automates only 1 product in 1 country.
Gloriads publishes one price, set by your Amazon ad spend of the previous month, for every marketplace and all four ad types, with no percentage up to $100,000 a month. Every account starts with 14 days free, no card and nothing limited, then pays month by month and cancels in one click.
Is Scale Insights cheaper than Gloriads?
For a few products on one marketplace, yes. 10 products on one marketplace cost $98 a month at Scale Insights, against $239 at Gloriads at $10,000 of ad spend, and its price does not rise with your spend.
As soon as your products sell on several marketplaces, it turns around, because each marketplace counts each product again. 10 products on 4 marketplaces are 40 automated ASINs, $388 a month, against $239 at Gloriads, which includes every marketplace.
Above 100 automated ASINs, only the 1% Plan is left, on request: at 1% of ad spend and with no minimum, it would cost less than Gloriads below $100,000 of monthly ad spend. The calculator below works out your own case.
Why advertisers leave Scale Insights
Public reviews of Scale Insights are few and mostly positive. The criticism that comes back:
- an interface many find complicated, with a steep learning curve;
- automations that take a long time to set up by hand;
- a price per product and per marketplace that grows fast for a large catalog sold on several marketplaces;
- profit figures that miss some Amazon fees, such as storage;
- being slow to follow Amazon's new features.
How Gloriads works instead
Gloriads keeps your campaigns as they are. It reads your Amazon Ads account and changes only what a rule you turned on says to change. When you change something yourself in Amazon, your rules leave it alone for 7 days instead of overwriting it.
A rule is one sentence you can read: IF, AND, OR, NOT and ELSE IF on any metric and any time window, running every hour to every 3 months, from ready-made templates or your own, with ceilings that keep it in bounds. Test now shows every change it would make on your account before it acts.
Every change lands in Activity with its reason, and one click undoes it, or a whole run: bids, states, budgets, placements, negatives. Gloriads covers Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and Streaming TV on every marketplace, for sellers, vendors, KDP authors and Merch on Demand, and copies campaigns to other marketplaces with their keywords translated.
Where Scale Insights is better
For a few products on one marketplace, Scale Insights costs less, and its price stays the same however much you spend. Its users also praise its onboarding call and an active Facebook community; Gloriads gives you the controls and its documentation.
Its rules can use organic rank and Search Query Performance, which Gloriads' cannot. Both read Amazon's hour-by-hour figures as a heat map and set a bid percentage for each hour of the week.
Scale Insights reads your Seller Central sales for profit, TACOS, returns and restock forecasts, and its MCP connector can change bids, budgets and negatives after your approval. Gloriads reads a margin per product, and its API and MCP connector only read; TACOS is on its roadmap.
What happens to your campaigns when you leave Scale Insights
Nothing is put back. Scale Insights writes each change straight to Amazon, and its help center says that unassigning a rule does not necessarily reverse what it already changed. So the last values stay: the bid of the last hour, the budget of the last day of the week, the raised placements.
Most of its Sponsored Products and Display presets turn ad groups on from 6 am to 9 pm. Stop during the night hours, in the marketplace's time, and the ad groups it paused stay paused; its own help says to check and turn back on the ads paused by dayparting yourself.
Your data goes too: its terms let it delete everything after you cancel. Before you cancel, download your reports, product costs and rule settings; then remove its access, and turn back on what its schedule left off.
